Workplace Investigations

Workplace investigations are a primary focus of Ms. Gammer's law practice. She has handled hundreds of investigations relating to:

  • Discrimination, harassment, bullying, and retaliation
  • Romantic relationships at work
  • Failure to accommodate disability
  • Conflict of interest
  • Misuse of company IT assets
  • Theft and violation of expense policies
  • Misappropriation of trade secrets

Ms. Gammer has conducted investigations across the United States and in other countries, including Ireland, France, Japan, India, and China. She is highly skilled in identifying the issues, creating an appropriate work plan, interviewing the relevant witnesses to find out the facts, obtaining and evaluating documentary evidence that bears on the issues in dispute, evaluating credibility, and reaching an objective finding on the issues under investigation. She is fair and impartial and, if asked, is able to offer thoughtful guidance on the range of actions to consider to effectively address the investigation finding.
